AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS I DECIDED TO GO AHEAD AND ORDER THESE SHEETS W/O BEING ABLE TO DO THE "TOUCH THEM" TEST THAT I WOULD ORDINARILY DO WHEN SHOPPING AT A STORE. THEY ARE EXACTLY AS OTHERS DESCRIBED!! WE JUST LOVE THEM!!
THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THEY MAKE IT REALLY DIFFICULT TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING. THEY ARE SO SOFT AND WARM!! I HAVE LAUNDERED THEM A FEW TIMES THUS FAR AND NO ISSUES AT ALL WITH PILING.

I bought two of these fitted bottom sheets in ivory in the queen size. They were purchased to salvage several older sets of sheets whose bottom sheets had worn out. The new sheets work well. The ivory color works with the muted patterns of the old sheets (mostly small plaid and tweed-like patterns). The sheets are very generously sized and fit our pillow-top mattress with a bit of room to spare, which means that they stay where they're supposed to, without the corners popping off. The 360 thread count means that the sheets are quite smooth with a nice finish. They are not 500 count Egyptian cotton sheets, nor are they advertised as such, so I'm not quite sure what some of the reviewers here were expecting.

My only concern, which is why I gave this product 4 stars, instead of 5, is the overwhelming chemical odor the sheets gave off as soon as I opened the package. I have to wonder about the safety of the manufacturer's finishing process. The odor did wash out, after two cycles in the washing machine (I used cold water). Because I try to be environmentally conscious, I'm not sure I'd buy the sheets again, but only because of the chemical smell.
