It's hard to describe how soft these sheets really are, I think you just have to try them to understand - I usually buy higher thread count sheets, but the pattern on these matched an existing comforter so I purchased these. They are now my favorite sand I'm going to buy at least 1 more set just to have on hand. They wash great, are super soft and I love the feel of curling up under them, and they fit my pillow top king mattress perfectly - no struggling to pull and stretch to put them on. I am VERY disappointed in these sheets. I really debated over getting them for weeks, but I finally decided that I really did like the way they looked. Sadly, I am horribly disappointed. After washing them, they are still rough. The stripes aren't woven in, the design is just printed on the sheets. After washing them, I've notice many places where the brown dye and run into the blue. Even at 300+ thread count, it's clear that the materials used to make the sheets just weren't up to par. I'd return them, but sadly I have taken them out of their package and washed them already. A total waste of my money. I'll only buy my sheets from Overstock from now on. I've NEVER been disappointed by the quality I get there.
