I love my pile of old down/feather pillows -- but, bless 'em, they were shedding and I was sneezing and menopause had me soaking them through almost every night. Old, and rather spendy, pillow protectors didn't help. So I bought four of these pillow protectors over a year ago, cleaned the pillows and stuffed them inside the new protectors. Side zipper makes that soooo much easier than for protectors with end-openings. No feathers in the bedding now, pillows stay clean, my stuffy nose cleared up, and -- wonderful bonus! -- the silky texture of the protector can be felt through a pillowcase. Lov
