I now have 3 sets of 1000+ thread count sheets and this set, even after only 3 washes, is my favorite. Most of the high TC sheets tend to be sateen in my experience, and while it feels soft and great, they don't breath at all. This set doesn't have the sateen finish, so it's not quite as soft initially as my others have been, but it breaths and they are still reasonably soft. After another 20 or so washes, I'm sure they will be just perfect.
