I took a chance on this product and ordered, even though the description is less than compelling. I had needed waterproof pillow covers for my kids, but hate the cheap plasticky ones and didn't want to spend more on a cover than the pillow was worth. These pillows covers (and yes, although the description is not entirely clear, there are 2 covers included in the package) have a soft terry exterior and a lightweight vinyl interior. They are a little noisy to sleep on, thanks to the vinyl, but that's the compromise you have to make to get a waterproof cover. The terry cloth exterior does help to muffle the sound, however.
