These sheets are shiny and soft, probably get softer after they're washed. Haven't had a chance to wash yet. If you are looking for style at a bargain this is it. Not sure what other colors are available, I bought the black. But I'm sure they're great in any color, they would have to be right, they were chosen by Marrikas for Amazon.com.
