I purchased three of these covers for protecting my four year old son's pillows, in case of night time bed wetting accidents. I own the twin mattress version of this product but have not ever tested it by purposely wetting it to see if it truly is waterproof. Last night my son had a bed accident and when he woke up I could see that the pillowcase was wet. Surprisingly when I took the pillow protector off to launder it (for the first time - I've only had it for two weeks) the pillow itself was wet too. Perhaps this is a waterproof product when the wetness is left on for a short period of time, but it definitely isn't when the wetness is there for several hours. I'm pretty disappointed about this and will be contacting the manufacturer to see what they can do about their claims. I'll be updating here when I get more information.Get more detail about Protect-A-Bed Premium Waterproof Pillow Protector, Standard Pillow Size (21x27 in.).
