I ordered these for my daughter for Christmas. I also purchased two matching shams. I was extremely disappointed in both products and would have returned them immediately but my daughter did like the pattern and wanted to try them. They were extremely stiff and even after washing, were not soft as a flannel sheet should be. I am hoping they will soften a little more with more washings. I ordered them over some others because the the weight seemed to be a little higher than others which was supposed to make them softer, so I thought.
