The University of Michigan notified parents of incoming freshman students that only twin extra-long bedsheets would fit the mattresses in the dorms. After a prolonged search, these were the only flannel bedsheets available in the appropriate size in August 2009. Given the price, I assumed I would receive superior quality bedsheets.
