A queen-size set of these sheets plus pillowcases is virtually a full load of laundry -- that's how stout they are. Very thick material, extraordinarily beefy and smooth-feeling -- not as smooth as silk, but much less expensive, easier to care for, and less liable to accidental rips in pulling the fitted sheet around the corners of the mattress. I have had them for several months, and they feel like they will last forever.
