Feels so soft right out of the package. Smelled funny, but that went away as soon as I washed it. It feels so wonderful like the very old percale sheets of the 40's and 50's before they seemed to get crunchy in the 60's. Would order again in a heartbeat. Also LOVED that I can order just a sheet and not a whole set.
