I've washed these sheets once and they are softer than they were when I received them. They are so cool and comfortable - perfect for hot/warm Florida climate! They are silky-soft and VERY comfortable. Plus, they look great! The blue in most of the photos looks a bit more aqua or turquoise than they really are. It is more of a sea foam green/blue, but still worked perfectly with my beach-themed decor!
